This past Saturday Kevin, HD and I went to the Iowa State Spring Game. Even though I have on ISU clothes, I’m still a HUSKER fan!!!! GO BIG RED!!!!!!
We went because at half time Kevin got to go out onto the field for the announcement of Iowa Corn sponsoring the Iowa State and Iowa series. Kevin, President Elect of the Iowa Corn Growers Association and Deb Keller, President Elect of the Iowa Corn Promotion Board, were the representatives for Iowa Corn. The new name for it will be the Iowa Corn Cy Hawk Series which will begin the 2011-2012 school year! Below is a video of the announcement from last week and also some pictures from on Saturday! HD seemed right at home hanging out in a skybox (although I think he would look much better if he had a Husker sweatshirt on instead)!
