Yeah! Vegetables are starting to grow!
This past Saturday, I worked pretty much all day in the garden, weeding and laying down some straw (to help prevent the weeds from growing again). I also went and bought cages for all of the tomato and pepper plants. Then it got a good watering.
It’s been so windy on top of our hill, but the plants still seem to be in decent condition. I could see some little tomatoes on the cherry tomato plants already!
For those of you who are veteran gardeners, do I need to fertilize the plants? We mixed quite a bit of manure in with the dirt when we tilled it, so I don’t want to over do it. Let me know what you recommend! Thanks!

You are probably fine with the manure you tilled in. We use a little Preen for weed control.
