Crop Update

July 8, 2011 By Sara

Boy have the crops really been growing these past few weeks!  Yesterday the sky was so pretty I thought I’d run out and take a few pictures.  75 pictures later I headed home!  There was a storm that was moving in, but it only sprinkled at our house.  But it sure made for some neat pictures!
Yesterday, I got a call from my Aunt Nel asking about whether or not we irrigate since our corn was so tall.  I told her no, we do not irrigate, we are just lucky that we usually (knock on wood) get plenty of rain in our part of the county.  As you can see everything is nice and green everywhere right now, but it’s only the beginning of July.  There is a lot of the summer and growing season left, so we’ll just have to wait and see what happens!  We’ll be keeping our fingers crossed!
