Craft Night Pinterest Style

October 8, 2012 By Sara

This past weekend my sisters and I got together on Friday night for a “Craft Night-Pinterest Style” and then we did some Christmas shopping on Saturday.  I know it sounds early to be Christmas shopping, but that was our only free weekend to go together before the baby arrives in six weeks!  And I didn’t know how much shopping I would be able to do after the little one arrives, so we thought we’d get a head start!
By the time I got to my sisters house on Friday night, Morgan and Megan had already started on some of their projects.  They each did 3-4 craft projects for their homes that they found on Pinterest.  My plan was to make a quick quilt/blanket for the rocking chair that we moved from HD/Baby’s room into our room to make room for HD’s toddler bed.  The fabric on the chair totally clashes with our room, so I thought I’d just whip up a blanked to lay over it and to also use when rocking the baby in a few weeks!
I’m not going to give step-by-step instructions for the craft projects below, but I will give you the link as to where they found these ideas!
I hope to have another Craft Night-Pinterest Style with my sisters soon!  It was a lot of fun!
Painted Knife Block

Boo! Halloween Pumpkin

Front Door Wreath

My quilt/blanket that I made with left
over scrap material from the throw pillows
and curtains that I made for our bedroom.

Wash and Lost Socks for Laundry Room

Have any of you been crafty lately?  Has it been fall crafts or are you on to Christmas already??

I absolutely love the “y” wreath, especially the colors. And the “Boo” pumpkin is so cute! Something I think I could even do with my kids. I’m so jealous! I wish I would make time to do any crafting at all. Fun to take a night with your sisters to get some projects done together!
