Association board members aka “Parade Coordinators”
After the parade we had to finish getting ready for our 4th of July party that night at our house. The night before Kevin and I had smoked some Boston Butts on our Big Green Egg and they turned out great! As you can see on the stove, we pulled them off the grill at 1:06 am. Talk about a late night!
Friends started showing up around 5 pm and we had about 60-70 people stop by throughout the night. There were pork sandwiches and we also had our friend Luke smoke a bunch of BBQ ribs for us. We ask that everyone brings a side or dessert and we provide the rest.
|AJ found a new friend, Marla.|
|HD and his best friend Q.
They are 3.5 months apart in age.
|AJ and TJ in their starry pjs.
They are 3.5 weeks apart in age.
The kids all got different colored glow sticks; this was really nice once it got dark out, we could tell which kid was our’s!
The party was great and we got to see a lot of our really good friends and neighbors!
Friday we spent cleaning up from the party, napping, playing outside, eating supper at Dairy Queen and playing in the park.
|HD was tired I guess, but AJ wasn’t!|
|Our little “Switch Hitter”|
|Playing at the park with Grandpa Greg and Grandma Rhonda|
|Daddy went to the top with HD and this was
the fastest way down!
Saturday morning, I headed out to my parent’s house on the lake with the boys for some fun on the boat.
|Grandma Sharri with her two grandsons on the pontoon|
|HD braving the big water slide all by himself!|
|Playing with Grandpa Jim in the lake|
|AJ decided he liked the baby pool
better than the big lake.
|HD riding with Aunt Megan and Andrew
on the tube behind the boat.
|Look Grandpa, no hands!|
