Sara’s Weekly Findings

May 19, 2014 By Sara

Hello!  Geez is it really Monday again?  Where did last week go?  We left for a weekend of camping with my family on Friday, so I didn’t get this posted (again) over the weekend.  I promise this will start coming out at the end of each week!

First up for last week is:

How to Select, Store, and Serve Bananas by Lori at The Produce Mom

I met Lori last year at the BlogHer Food 2013 conference in Austin, TX.  In this post she discusses the different stages of bananas which is the #1 fruit in the U.S. and also a big favorite of my boys!  Check it out for some great tips and recipes!

Broccoli and Ham Garden Quiche by Julie at Farm Eats, City Streets

This quiche recipes looks delicious and Julie says is super easy!  I can’t wait to pick some broccoli out of my garden (if it makes it through that frost last week) and whip this up for breakfast soon!

Favorites: Children’s Books by Katie at Bower Power

I have a few blogs that I read each and every day and Bower Power is one of them.  I’ve never met Katie, but I feel like I know her almost as well as some of my closet friends.  Katie has three little boys and her two oldest are the same age as Hudson and Axten.  So when she posted this blog post about her boys’ favorite children’s books I could totally relate!  We do already have some of these books, but it’s always great to get recommendations for other books too!

Flat Aggie Visits Southeast Kansas by Nicole at Tales of a Kansas Farm Mom

This is a really cute (and informative) post about Flat Aggie and his visit to Nicole’s family farm in Southeast Kansas. Follow along on his journey and see what he all did on his visit to their farm!

Please use this badge on your website if you are one of my favorite blogs for the week!

Note: Please go to the original website to pin these photos!  Thank you!

If you would like to have one of your blog posts featured here, please email it to me at sarashousehd@gmail.com.  I’m always looking for new blogs to follow!  Thanks!
