Do you ever get ready to pack for a trip and don’t know what to take with? I’m that way. I dread packing, unless I have some new pieces that I can’t wait to wear! Stitch Fix is the perfect way to make packing for a trip a whole lot easier!
If you know you are going somewhere, request a shipment and give them specific details on what types of pieces you are looking for, where you are going, and make sure they have your link to a Pinterest style board if you have one! That really comes in handy as they can see all the different types of clothes that you have pinned.
My most recent Stitch Fix shipment came the beginning of August (yes, I know it’s now the middle of October!). And it was a great one! I seriously would have kept all five pieces, but sent back two. And all of the pieces were perfect packing pieces for upcoming trips that was taking! They were also great summer to fall transition pieces which is what I had requested.
Liverpool Jalie Denim Jacket
The first piece was this great denim jacket made by Liverpool. I loved it! The stylist’s comments were, “A denim jacket is a must have for any season!” The denim was so soft and it had a dark wash that I really liked.
As you can see from the style card you can wear it with a more casual outfit or pair it with a cute little dress and sandals. This would be a great piece to travel with!
There were two issues though, 1.) I had just purchased a lighter colored denim jacket at Target the week before and 2.) this denim jacket was over two times as much as my Target one, so I kept the Target jacket and sent this one back.
Renee C Ivanka Crew Neck Lace Detail Blouse
When I pulled this ivory lace blouse out of the box I wasn’t sure about it. It was cute, but I wasn’t sure about the collar.
It is a very classic and feminine top and can be worn with a number of pants, jeans, skirts, and shorts-dressed up or dressed down. I texted a picture to my sister, Megan, and she told me I had to keep it! So I did! You can see it paired with the next piece below.
Pink Martini Joshua Colored Ankle Jean
These jeans were bright! I had specifically asked for colored denim, and I got what I asked for! The color was called pink, but I’d consider it more of a salmon color.
As you can see they can be styled with a number of tops and shoes. You could make them dressy or more casual if you wanted.
I actually just paired it with the ivory top from above. I liked the pants, but I decided to send them back because I felt the color was more of a summer color and I was looking for fall pieces, they were a smidge too tight, and I thought they were a hair too short.
Margaret M Duboce Straight Leg Jean
I LOVE these jeans! I read the note and the stylist said that “Green is a perfect color to wear for the end of summer all the way until the holidays because it works just like a basic. You can wear it with any color or printed shirt, even the denim jacket!”
I began to think about what to pair with these jeans, from leopard print for this fall to a cute top to a holiday party!
These jeans are so comfortable. They are a stretchy denim with no zipper. They just pull on! They kind of reminded me of some of my maternity pants…..in a good way! I always thought they best part of the maternity clothes was the pull-on, stretchy pants! So I definitely kept these!
Sanctuary Caden Cargo Jacket
Another thing I had specifically asked for in this shipment was a jacket….and I received two! I knew I was sending the jean jacket back already so I was hoping that this jacket was as cute on as it was laying on my floor!
The material is really hard to describe. It’s lightweight and kind of silky, but still warm! This jacket is and was a great one to travel with. It’s made it’s rounds already to both California and China!
Since it is a dark navy blue color it goes with a lot of things! So this was definitely a keeper!
So after all five pieces were tried on I sent the pink pants and the denim jacket back. But I liked both of those pieces! So I’d have to say that this shipment from Stitch Fix was another winner! My next one comes next week (remember this one was from the beginning of August!). I promise to post what I get in that one sooner this time!

Your Stitch Fix finds are always so fun! I’d love to “spice up” my wardrobe a little bit with some Stitch Fix finds but I should probably wait til I’m done being pregnant…
🙂
Great Fix! Loved them all on you. Hope harvest moving Along well for your family!
Thanks Colleen! Harvest is going slow. Got about 40 acres of corn out and that’s it. It was too wet so we are drying it in the bin, but we had to get cattle moved out to some stalks. Going to beans next but they aren’t dry enough either. Weather’s not cooperating!
Can you please post the prices of the items? I want to request a few of the pieces you received but I need to know their prices first.
Lindsi-
Hello! I’m sorry I just looked to see if I still had the price sheet and I must have tossed it. If I can remember right I think the ivory lace top was $58, the denim jean jacket was $98, the green pants were $88, the pink pants were $68, and the navy jacket was $68. But that’s just off the top of my head, so please don’t quote me on that! I’ll start including the prices! Thanks for reading!
