Today is our oldest son, Hudson’s 6th birthday! I can’t believe it! I’m actually on a plane flying to The Philippines right now, but should land in time to call and tell him happy birthday.
We actually celebrated his birthday on Sunday before I left. We made it a special afternoon with all his family and a few close friends. He asked for an Avenger themed birthday and he got it!
Six years ago, Hudson came into this world and taught Kevin and I what it was to be parents. He was the perfect baby, so easy going and happy. He barely crawled before he took off walking at nine months and hasn’t looked back!
He became a big brother about three years later and he was so good with Axten. He’s definitely the “oldest child” when it comes to helping out, wanting to please people, always trying to do the right thing.
And now he’s the best big brother to his three younger brothers. Hudson is so helpful, loving, caring, strong, patient, and kind. He’s got a big heart and a great attitude. He’s mommy’s little helper when it comes to his brothers and daddy’s little helper when it comes to the cattle and chores.
He loves school and get’s good reports from all his teachers, which makes us very proud. He also plays his heart out at every sport that he plays. He’s tried them all (flag football, wrestling, basketball, soccer, and t-ball) and loves wrestling the most he says!
He’s six today, but Hudson’s still my “baby”. Thanks for being the best son a parent could ask for and the best big brother too! Happy birthday buddy! Love you and miss you!
