Homemade Slow Cooker Apple Sauce

Ingredients
  • Enough apples to fill up your slow cooker (probably 12-15 apples depending on the size)
  • 1-2 c. apple juice
  • 1 c. brown sugar
  • 2 T. lemon juice
  • 1 T. cinnamon
  • ¾ t. nutmeg
  • ¼ t. cloves
  • ¼ t. salt
Instructions
  1. Peel, core, and cut up apples and place them in the slow cooker. Top with the rest of the ingredients. Cook on low heat for 3-4 hours or until apples have softened to your desired consistency, stirring occasionally.
  2. Eat warm or cool and freeze to eat all year long. This is also a great topping for ice cream! Enjoy!
