Enough apples to fill up your slow cooker (probably 12-15 apples depending on the size)
1-2 c. apple juice
1 c. brown sugar
2 T. lemon juice
1 T. cinnamon
¾ t. nutmeg
¼ t. cloves
¼ t. salt
Instructions
Peel, core, and cut up apples and place them in the slow cooker. Top with the rest of the ingredients. Cook on low heat for 3-4 hours or until apples have softened to your desired consistency, stirring occasionally.
Eat warm or cool and freeze to eat all year long. This is also a great topping for ice cream! Enjoy!
