Garden is Finally Planted!!!

May 28, 2011 By Sara

I finally got my garden planted last night.  It took me about 2.5-3 hours to get the whole thing planted.  I actually ran out of room, but that’s ok.  I think I’ll have plenty for my first year….if things grow!  Jim (my brother-in-law) saw that we put some manure in and I don’t think it got mixed in real well, so we are kind of worried about some of the plants “burning” due to too much manure in one spot, but we’ll see!  Next week I need to do some weeding and then lay some straw down to hopefully help with weed control.  I hope to see some little plants popping up soon!  Watch for updates on how my first garden is going throughout the summer!
