The Corn is Up!

May 13, 2011 By Sara

This was originally posted on Thursday, May 12th, but for some reason it disappeared.  I think blogger is having some issues…..

Thursday, May 12th
Yesterday morning I noticed that our neighbor’s corn was really coming up, but then it rained all day yesterday, so I didn’t get to go check out our corn until this morning.  We got 2.25 inches of rain at our place on Wednesday, so that will definitely keep farmers out of the field for awhile!  In the first field that Kevin planted corn, it is just starting to come up.  The field was very muddy with all that rain, but with the warm temperatures that we are suppose to have today, it will really get this corn growing!  Stay tuned for more pics in the upcoming weeks!
