What does that mean to you?
To me that is how many years my grandparents have been married. August 11, 1946 was the day they were joined together by marriage. This past Sunday we celebrated their 65 years together by going to church and then to dinner afterwards.
In their 65 years they have been through many life events. They have eight children, fifteen grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. Between weddings and births, there are more and more family members at Christmas every year!
Seeing them together, living at home, makes me smile and want to be like them. I think they are an inspiration to us all. So, I’d just like to say, “Congratulations Grandma and Grandpa on your 65 years of wedded bliss!”
