Hudson & Axten’s Big Announcement

April 27, 2015 By Sara

Hello!  As you heard from the video, the boys had a big announcement to make.  Well, Hudson did.  Axten wouldn’t cooperate so that’s why he wasn’t in the video.

As you can see from their big grins below, they are both very excited about their promotions to the “Biggest Brother” and “Big Brother” this fall.

Hudson & Axten's Big Announcement

And we don’t have to worry about the boys fighting over who gets to hold the baby….because there’s two of them!  TWINS!  As Hudson said in the video, we do know that the babies are identical twins, but we don’t know the gender yet.  We do want to find out this time around though.  We didn’t find out with the boys, but I really want to know if we are having two more boys or mixing it up and having twin girls!  Everyone keeps asking what we want and at this point I just say that boys would be easier, but I’d love to see Kevin with two daughters.

I’m officially in my second trimester and still somewhat tired, but other than that feeling pretty good.  I’ll have another post soon that tells about how and when we found out we were having twins!

Below are a few outtakes from the other day when I was trying to get Axten to smile for the camera like Hudson was so willing to do.

This Boy is Getting Promoted to Big Brother

Above he’s trying to show me thumbs up like on his shirt and below he was saying that this photo session was over, so Hudson gave me the thumbs up instead!

Thumbs Up and Not Cooperating

As you can see, crazy times are ahead of us!  Do any of you have any tips or helpful information about identical twins?  Twins run in my mom’s side and Kevin’s dad’s side, so it wasn’t a huge shock, but these are identical twins, which none of the other ones were.  Any tips will be appreciated it!

I’m so happy for all of you! And I’m pulling with Hudson for brothers – I always wanted four boys but with one son and two daughters so far I don’t think that is going to happen… Congratulations once again!

Yeah! Congratulations Sara! Such exciting news. The boys are going to be great big brothers. I’m so excited to follow along on your journey to being a family of 6! Cheers to an easy and peaceful pregnancy.
